Slow and Boring.
This is the second book in the series featuring Jessie Cole, a private investigator.
I am aware that Ragan is a popular author and have read several of her titles in the past. This though is far from her best work, with a slow-moving plot, that failed to engage the reader.
The roll out of the story, describing the characters, trying to paint a picture of them is commendable, but it misses the mark on the books genre.
Heath writes reviews regularly for newspapers and magazines.
