Private Lies
Jane Avery Mysteries, Book 1 by Cynthia St. Aubin An engaging and funny crime story, that combines imagination and sassy. Female heroes are becoming the norm in fiction, and this book does it very well. Jane Avery, newly graduated lawyer, has a shady past and is very loose with the truth. In fact very conversation is based on deceit. When her mother, private eye Alexis Avery, goes missing, Jane discovers a world she has been completely unaware of. What follows is a humour set of circumstances, that leads in circles. The story line is well written, while the book is easy to read. I hoping that the next book in the series is as good. #PrivateLies #NetGalley www.books-reviewed.weebly.com
