By Simon Lelic
A psychological thriller featuring a young couple - Syd and Jack. Syd brings lots of baggage into the relationship from a trouble childhood, which is revealed in a diary style writing. Their lives become complicated when unnatural things start occurring in the house, in the streets around their house, and at Jack’s workplace. While the plot is well developed, the characters, particularly Sydney comes off as cold and calculating. The twists keep you interested, but I thought the ending was a bit of an anti-climax.
