Trilogy by J.B. Turner
This engaging series featuring Jon Reznick, a black-ops specialist who takes his orders from shadowy handlers, within the US government. He is a hired killer, who uncovers a plot to de-stabilise the US government.
After running from the FBI, he links with FBI Assistant Director Martha Meyerstein, to prevent certain mayhem within the Washington and New York. He remains the only person who knows the true extent of the threat to national security—and has the stealth and determination to stop it.
Throughout the three books, the plot is fast paced, with plenty of action. The characters are well developed, as well as being believable.
This is an excellent series, which I read in two days. Extremely hard to put down.
